Ich rocke halt bei Limit ich wusste es ^^. Schon komisch das ich wieder Lust hatte ein paar Hände Fixed zu spielen. Alles natürlich keine Samplesize. Bis Anfang Juli bin ich wieder beruflich eingespannt. Danach werde ich Supernova chasen. [...]

Ich werde heute am Niderbayern Cup teilnehmen. 15 Tisch und max. 600 Teilnehmer. Gespielt werden Vorrunden mit 10 Spielern / Tisch. Die ersten 2 kommen in das Freeze-Out. Ich werde morgen dann von meiner Performance berichten. Updates werden per twitter (twitter.com/torschtl) gepostet.

     Today start off pretty well, with me getting up to 150,000 chips
in the first 2 hours. We started with 120,000, so while 150,000 sounds
like a lot, it isnt really. We got back from break and I picked up KK
in the big blind. Lex "RaSZi" Veldhuis raised from under the gun ,
which he had done 3 times so far. He also has been fairly aggressive so
far, which is standard for him. A few people called and I reraised to
around 12000 chips. He reraised 15000 more and I decided to get it in,
as if I lost the hand, I would still have around 45,000 chips, as he
had lost a few pots earlier. He had the AA so I was down to 45,000. I
picked up AQ on the button two hands later when there were a few limps.
I raised to around 5000 and only Eli Elezra called. It came Q97, I cbet
and he folded. The very next hand, Gavin Smith limped and I picked up
QQ. I made it 4000 and Lex reraised me to 12,000. I dont really think
he is the type of player to try to outplay me here, as we are pretty
friendly. At the same time, I think QQ might be slightly above his
range, so I pushed He snapped with KK and I was out. All in all, I
think I played about as well as possible in the first 2 hours and ran
about as bad as possible in my last 10 minutes at the table. I think I
am going to play an event basically every day, which means the $1500 o8
event is tomorrow. While it is very small compared to the $40,000
today, it is still another shot at the wsop win that has eluded me so
far, so I am going to play my best and hope to not run too poorly.

Genau da kam ich grad her, aber ich fang mal vorne an.
Vor ca. 1-2 Wochen erzählte mir nem Kumpel davon, dass er schon seit längeren mit einem Kumpel von ihm eine Idee habe.

Wenn sie selber zu Hause pokern, dann vertilten sie doch mal recht schnell zu viel Geld oder verlieren es beim Blackjack und daher macht es am meisten Sinn, wenn sie einfach zusammen zocken um sich dadurch ein wenig selber zu kontrollieren und einfach im Griff zu haben, was das tilten anbelangt.
Die Idee war es also, sich einfach eine ganz ganz kleine Bude zu mieten oder auch nur ein einzelnes Zimmer in einer WG, wo beide ihre Rechner platzieren und immer zusammen online pokern.

Ich persönlich fand diese Idee etwas weit hergeholt, aber jedem das seine Zufall trifft natürlich auf Zufall und ein anderer Kumpel von mir wohnt derzeit in einer 2er WG und hat natürlich ein leerstehendes 12m² Zimmer, was wirklich nicht benutzt wird und zur Abstellkammer verkommt. So kommt eins zum anderen und seit ein paar Tagen haben sie es dann tatsächlich umgesetzt und sich nun mit 3 Leuten das leerstehende 12m² Zimmer "gemietet" und ihre Rechner dadrin platziert.

Die Idee war mit Sicherheit konzentriert und besser zu grinden, doch momentan ist anscheinend die Einweihungswoche und so kommen immer mal wieder unterschiedliche Leute mit Laptop vorbei und es befinden sich abends immer 4-6 Leute am zocken in der WG. Sonntags wird schön Turniere gedonkt, aber auch ansonsten ist man fleissig und natürlich auch schön motiviert. Derzeit ist es eher eine Anlaufstelle zum trinken & zocken, als eine konzentrierte Grindbude, aber das ändert sich sicher auch noch.

Ich selbst komme gerade auch daher und habe kleine Sidebets schön für mich entschieden. Angefangen haben wir damit, dass wir jeder 6 2.20$ 180Mann Turbo SnGs spielen und derjenige mit den wenigsten Winnings gibt demnächst ne schöne Flasche leckeren Alkohol aus. Ich hab mich obv durchgeluckt und ein son Teil gewonnen, aber auch übelst gehitted am FT;) Danach haben wir alle PLO Headsup SnGs gezockt und wer als erster verliert hat dann die nächste Sidebet verloren.

Nunja ich schweife schon wieder ab, ich wollt ansich nur mal die "Idee" des "PokerOffice" kundtun und mal hören was ihr davon haltet, wäre sowas auch was für euch oder bevorzugt ihr es lieber alleine zu pokern?

Die weiteren Chipstricks habe ich übrigens nicht vergessen, ich will meine Munition nur nicht alles auf einmal verschießen und plane jedes Wochenende einen Beitrag mit einem neuen Trick zu veröffentlichen :) 

       For the first time in a very long time, I went on tilt today. I
guess I should start by saying that I have been playing $2/4 plo for
the last week or so, as one of my good friends told me I should take
the time to learn how to play it with deep stacks. I grinded a little,
around 4000 hands and was up a nice $12,000, which was obviously
running well above expectation. Today, I loaded up a session after Katy
and I got home from the gym and ran awful. I lost, looking back through
pokertracker, around 7 buyins due to normal variance but the last 3
came from, as far as I can tell, poor play. I really dont even know
what came apon me, as one second I was sitting here grinding (and
getting pwned) and the next thing I know, stacks are going all in with
QJ54sscc pre. Anyways, I think admiting this little defeat here in my
blog will help me do better in the future. I think I am also going to
set up some sort of "stop loss" for the near future, where if I lose 4
buyins, I will wrap up my session asap. I have never been a fan of a
stop loss, as if you are +ev, you should still be +ev no matter if you
are running good or bad, but when tilt starts to enter the equation,
that all goes out the window. I know Phil Ivey used to quit whenever he
lost one buyin at the super high stake games. If he does it, it cant be
too awful.

       I played the $500 bellagio tournament on Friday and lost
sometime in the 4th hour. I had been fairly aggressive but when blinds
jump from 100/200 to 200/400, the 10,000 starting stack shrinks up
really fast. I raises with some junk hand from the button and the small
blind, who I know to be a good european guy reraised. I folded and
moved onto the next hand. I picked up JJ and raised from the cutoff to
2.5bbs out of my 20bb stack. The european reraised again and now a
super tight small blind pushed. I folded and the euro showed AA to beat
the nits A9s. The very next hand I picked up JJ again and raised. This
time, a looseish young kid reraised from the big blind. I decided to
get in, as folding here would be quite bad, and lost to his QQ.  All in
all though, I think have learned to play these small tournaments fairly
well, as I had 2 money finishes out of 7 tournaments and probably would
have won one of them if I could have won one out of 3 coin flips at the
final table. Simply put, I think I am ready for the WSOP.

       Speaking of the WSOP, it starts Thu, with my first event
being the $40,000 buyin event. That should be a fairly important one,
as winning it, or even making it deep for that matter, should bring in
lots of money. After that, there is a slew of smaller events before the
big one. I will probably post again after the $40,000 event. GL to
